Launched in 2004 The Gadget Show is one of Channel 5’s most enduring returnable formats and has gone on to establish itself as the UK’s most popular consumer technology review programme.
Now in its 35th series, each week the programme includes a series of reviews, features and news – plus the unboxing of a brand new gadget and the famous ‘Gadget Show Competition’ which gives viewers the chance to win a huge selection of gadgets worth thousands of pounds.
Since series 36, the show's new format has been all about real tech for real people. A host of households across the nation have asked us to make their lives better with a little tech injection. Step up Ortis Deley are Georgie Barrat, who will be showing them the latest gadgets that could help us all save time, save energy and save money. We’ll be inviting these families with tech dilemmas to Gadget HQ: our hi-tech hub, which has all the spaces to put any type of tech through its paces.
With a back catalogue of over 420 episodes, the brand has also been used to create commercial live events, international format sales, and audiences in 228 countries. The first series was commissioned on Channel 5 in 2004.
